FACEWORX

Skin Boosters & Biostimulators

Skin boosters and biostimulators work on the quality of your skin itself: its hydration, firmness, elasticity and glow. Unlike fillers, they don’t add volume, so nothing about your face shape changes.

They’re a great option if your skin is looking tired, dull or dehydrated, or if you simply want to invest in long-term skin health. At Faceworx we offer a small, carefully chosen range including Sunekos, Reglory and Collagenex.

What are skin boosters and biostimulators?

Skin boosters deliver deep hydration into the skin, usually with hyaluronic acid and other nourishing ingredients. Skin looks plumper, smoother and healthier as a result.

Biostimulators work a little differently. They encourage your own collagen and elastin production, so improvements in firmness and elasticity build gradually over the weeks after treatment and last longer.

Sunekos, for example, uses a patented mix of amino acids and hyaluronic acid to help the skin regenerate its own collagen and elastin. It’s a favourite for the delicate under-eye area as well as the face, neck and hands.

Which treatment is right for me?

It depends on your skin and what you want to achieve. Reglory NAD+ & NMN focuses on cellular renewal and overall rejuvenation. Reglory Eyes targets dark circles, fine lines and tired-looking eyes. Collagenex is designed to boost collagen for firmer, more resilient skin. Sunekos is a proven all-rounder, usually given as a course for the best results.

You don’t need to work any of this out yourself. Come in for a consultation and we’ll assess your skin and give you an honest recommendation.

What to expect

Treatment involves a series of small injections into the skin and takes around half an hour. You might have small bumps, redness or the odd bruise at the injection points for a day or two, but most clients go straight back to their normal day.

Because these treatments work with your skin’s own biology, results build over time. Hydration and glow usually improve within days, and firmness keeps improving over the following weeks. For most people a course of sessions gives the best outcome.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a skin booster and a dermal filler?

Dermal fillers add volume and structure to specific areas. Skin boosters and biostimulators improve the overall quality of the skin, its hydration, firmness and glow, without changing your face shape.

What are biostimulators?

Biostimulators are injectable treatments designed to stimulate your body’s natural collagen production. Rather than simply adding volume, they help improve skin quality, firmness and elasticity gradually over time for longer-lasting rejuvenation.

How many sessions will I need?

Many skin boosters and biostimulators work best as a course. Sunekos, for example, is usually given over a course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart. We’ll recommend a plan at your consultation.

Is there any downtime?

Very little. You may have small bumps, redness or minor bruising at the injection points for a day or two, but most clients get straight back to their normal day.

When will I see results?

Hydration and radiance often improve within days. Improvements in firmness and elasticity build gradually over the following weeks as new collagen forms.
